Many colleges offer their own scholarships for applicants who demonstrate financial need. Here are a few college scholar programs offered by nearby colleges and universities, but there are many more! Check with the institutions you're considering to see what scholarships are offered and how to be considered for them.
Emerging Rural Leaders Summer Experience
FOR JUNIORS
​
UChicago offers fully funded merit scholarship programs for highly talented students! Each program consists of Phoenix Week (one week on UChicago’s campus with community-building activities and Admissions Academy workshops) and a three-week virtual academic course taught by UChicago faculty. Students will share experiences and form friendships, while learning about the highly selective admissions process and preparing for college and career success.

Gettysburg College STEM Scholars
​The goal of Gettysburg College STEM Scholars Program is to increase and diversify the number of talented STEM majors who go on to contribute to the advancement of knowledge in a broad range of scientific endeavors, either by entering the STEM workforce or a STEM-related graduate program upon graduation from Gettysburg College.
McDaniel Educator's Legacy Scholarship
To honor and recognize the importance of excellent teaching, McDaniel College offers a scholarship of up to $120,000 ($30,000 annually) to the children of K-12 and community college educators who have at least four years of current employment in a school setting and are eligible for full-time benefits at their institutions. Any service in a K-12 school or community college qualifies as long as the employment is directly through the school or college — teachers, counselors, nurses, support staff, administrators — at least four years of service equals recognition with up to a four-year scholarship, based on the student’s status as freshman or transfer.
PSU Millenium Scholars
The Penn State Millennium Scholars Program is designed for high-achieving Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) students who will become leaders in their chosen fields and who are committed to increasing the diversity of professionals in STEM-related disciplines. Millennium Scholars are students with both the passion and the ability to advance the frontiers of knowledge and change the world.
Ursinus College Abele Scholars
Abele Scholars at Ursinus College are high-achieving students with demonstrated financial need (EFC of $20,000 or below) who both understand the value of a liberal arts education and desire in-depth study of a major that aligns with their passion and prepares them for success in business, government or the nonprofit sector. To be eligible, students must live in PA, NJ, DE or MD.
Lehigh University's Alice P. Gast STEM Scholarship
Former Lehigh President Alice P. Gast believed deeply in advancing women in STEM careers. As a result, she established a fund to support the ambitions of young women interested in pursuing a Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) field at Lehigh. The awardee is provided with annual support of $12,500 for tuition and research-related activities in STEM fields. Continued enrollment in a STEM field and a grade point average of 3.0 are required to maintain this scholarship. All full-time admitted undergraduate students will be considered by the Committee on Admissions.

Through this college and scholarship application process, you can apply for free to the nation’s best colleges and be considered for early admission and a full four-year scholarship from the college.

NC State Park Scholarships

The mission of the Park Scholarships program is to bring exceptional students to NC State, based on outstanding accomplishments and potential in scholarship, leadership, service and character. The program develops and supports Park Scholars in these areas, preparing them for lifelong contributions to the university, state, nation and world.
