Federal Aid Programs
The U.S. Government provides funding for students who meet certain eligibility requirements. The following are some of the available grants:

Can be provided yearly for up to 12 consecutive semesters, or roughly 6 years

Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG)

Award ranges from $100 to $4,000

Priority is given to students who receive a Federal Pell Grant

Award amount varies based on the amount of funding available at the college to which you applied

Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education Grant (TEACH)

Provides up to $4,000 per year for students who plan to become teachers

In exchange, the student must work 4 years as a teacher within 8 years of graduating

Available to student whose parent died as a result of service performed in Iraq or Afghanistan after September 11, 2001

Dependents' Educational Assistance (DEA)
